Luke Duffy '23

Editor in Chief

Luke has been writing for the Prep News since early Freshman year. Last year, he served as Web Editor, implementing many innovations to the website and social media. He is excited to serve as Editor in Chief for his senior year. Along with the Prep News, he is also an Admissions Ambassador, a member of the National Honor Society, and an active member of ACES. 

Jackson Cooper '23

News Editor

Jackson has been writing for the Prep News since the fall of his sophomore year.  In addition to the paper, Jackson is president of the Staycation Club and serves as SLUH Sports Network’s lead football play-by-play commentator.  He is also an Admissions Ambassador and a President’s Ambassador.

Alex Preusser '23

News Editor

Alex has been writing for the Prep News since the beginning of his junior year. In addition to his contributions to the newspaper, he plays a major role in the literary magazine Sisyphus, plays racquetball and tennis, and is a President's Ambassador.

Austin Wald '23

Sports Editor

Austin has been writing for the Prep News since early in his junior year. When he is not cranking out layout on Thursday nights, Austin is at the golf course swinging clubs for SLUH Golf. He is excited to take on the role of Sports Editor this year.

Ben Croat '23

Sports Editor

Ben has been writing for the Prep News since the beginning of his junior year. Outside of PN, he is a member of ACES and One World Club. He also plays on the Rugby team.

Leo Smith '23

Visual Editor

Leo has played an integral role in the Prep News since early in his junior year by creating drawings and masthead to beautify the paper. This year, he is excited to take on a more prominent role in the visual production of the paper. Outside of the Prep News, Leo plays drums and is on the Rugby team.

Michael Baudendistel '23

Core Staff

Michael has been writing for the Prep News since the beginning of his junior year. In addition to the Prep News, Michael is also an Admissions Ambassador and plays on the baseball team.

Charles Turnell '23

Core Staff

Charles has been writing for the Prep News since his sophomore year. He took a more major role in production during his junior year and is excited for the opportunity to be a leader in the paper during his senior year. Outside of the Prep News, Charles plays on the lacrosse team.

Andrew Hunt '25

Core Staff

Andrew has been a dedicated reporter for the Prep News since early in his freshman year. He is excited to take a more involved role during his sophomore year. At SLUH, Andrew also does swimming and water polo and is a member of the One World Club.

Micah Doherty '25

Core Staff

Micah has written for the Prep News since early in his freshman year and is excited to be a part of the team this school year. Outside of the paper, he runs cross country and track.

Thomas has been a dutiful Prep News reporter since early in his freshman year. He is passionate about writing and looks forward to contributing to the paper this year. He also plays a major role on the racquetball team.

Editor in Chief of PN 86

Jack has been writing for the Prep News since the beginning of his sophomore year. Jack is also a dedicated member of the junior pastoral team and a core member of SLUH’s Men for Life Club. The oldest of six, Jack is a natural-born leader and is excited to take on the role of Editor in Chief.

Nathan Rich '22

Sports Editor of PN 86

Nathan has been writing with the Prep News since his freshman year. In addition to writing and drawing for the Prep News, Nathan is also on the tennis team, an editor of the Sisyphus magazine, and a member of the STEM club. 

Roarke Unrau '22

News Editor of PN 86

Roarke has been writing for the Prep News since the beginning of his junior year. In addition to being News Editor, he is also president of the Tailgate Club. 

Charlie Bieg '22

Visual Editor of PN 86

Charlie has been involved in the Prep News since the fall of his junior year by creating artwork to progress the visual side of the paper with the sports mastheads and designs to accompany news articles. He plans to continue this good work during PN 86. Charlie is also a member of the Circus Club.
