Sadly, the seven Jr. Bills who visited Yoro over spring break did not get to witness this. But they did have an exhilarating experience supporting a local nutrition center and experiencing the culture through their stays with host families.

Months of planning paid off on Saturday as the Mayor’s Youth Cabinet, staffed in part by senior Grayson Stevenson, and junior Henry Birkmeier, launched their very first annual TE3N-1-4 Day Summit, or 314 Day, a gathering of teenagers from around St. Louis that worked to connect the youth to St. Louis area professionals in various fields. The summit was held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., and was followed by a dinner and party that ran until 9:00 p.m.

Six students and two chaperones spent spring break in Ireland, conveniently returning on St. Patrick’s Day. Juniors Connor O’Callaghan, Marshall Prost, Thomas Schoenekase, Ben Shup, and Michael Sise and sophomore Andrew Vehige were accompanied by Assistant Director of Admissions Jennifer Thomas and Assistant to the President Nicole Vehige for the trip.

Throughout the Lenten season, St. Louis U. High’s Campus Ministry has hosted numerous events to commemorate the Church’s period of penance and almsgiving, helping the SLUH community navigate the 40 days.
From a new coach to an influx of junior leadership, the St. Louis U. High Mock Trial team’s season managed to push them towards the regional competition. Despite amazing performances throughout the previous months, the team lost to Marquette, a consistently high ranking team and Cor Jesu, the top ranked team in the competition on March 7.

With March Madness underway, here are some of my projections to help you form the best possible bracket
They’re back! After last year's state championship loss to Parkway Central, the St. Louis U. High Water Polo team came out hot with a 20-6 win against CBC in their season opener last Saturday.
The St. Louis U. High lacrosse team took down Lindbergh 12-4 at home with a dominant second half performance on March 8. They then headed to Indiana over spring break to watch a Division I game between Notre Dame and Michigan and face new competition from Cathedral High School in Indianapolis and Saint Joseph High School in South Bend.
New coach, new uniforms, new team! The St. Louis U. High baseball team started the season hot as they earned three wins to start the season before falling last night to Parkway South in the championship game of the St. Charles West Tournament.
This week's Athlete of the Week is varsity baseball pitcher junior James Unwin. Unwin pitched in the Saint Charles West tournament and threw six innings, allowing just two hits. Unwin swung on varsity his freshman year but is really finding his stride as a pitcher now
In the last match of the regular season, the St. Louis U. High Rifle Team broke the SLUH 3-Position Air Rifle record in an invitational against their biggest Missouri state rival, Ozark High School.
