1.6 MILLION FOR SLUH STUDENTS AT CASHBAH
What an incredible evening! Last Saturday's CASHBAH was an unforgettable celebration of community, generosity and the St. Louis U. High mission.
We are thrilled to share that CASHBAH 2026 raised more than $1.6 million for need-based financial assistance – a testament to the incredible generosity of our SLUH family.
The night was filled with many highlights: an amazing live auction that had the room buzzing with excitement; an inspiring testimonial from Titus Zeigler ’26 that reminded us all why we support this exceptional school; fun and memorable performances by the SLUH Chorus; and, of course, Will Schulte ’28 hosting the experience for everyone.
The evening program concluded with the announcement that an additional $500,000 has been raised to seed the Alan Carruthers Fund for Teaching Excellence. This fund was launched by Kate and David Eichhorn ’92 and the Board of Trustees in appreciation for Alan’s eight years of service as President.
None of this would be possible without the dedication of our co-chairs Ellen Fesler & Bridget Unger and scores of volunteers, sponsors and everybody who contributed to the event.

Your Support Makes a Difference
For the 2025-26 school year, SLUH will provide $6.1 million in need-based financial assistance to 49.4% of students, with an average award of $12,575. These levels of aid allow the school to conduct need-blind admission so all young men of promise can attend, regardless of economic circumstances.
The vision of the late SLUH President Fr. Richard Bailey, SJ, CASHBAH has provided tremendous financial support to the young men of the school for more than 50 years.
