Endowed Scholarships

Unique in our region, St. Louis U. High conducts need-blind admission and meets 100 percent of students’ demonstrated financial need. Our generous donors make it possible to admit any young man who shows the potential to succeed at SLUH.

The named scholarship program provides an opportunity for benefactors to give the gift of SLUH to future generations. Donors are able to honor and recognize significant individuals, such as alumni, faculty, or family, by creating an endowment whose earnings will provide financial aid to SLUH students.

Financial Assistance: By the Numbers

Tuition for the 2024-25 school year is $23,300, although the true cost to educate a student is $27,011. The difference, or tuition gap, is made up through the generosity of alumni and benefactors.

SLUH will distribute $5.5 million in direct aid for this school year. More than 450 students receive financial aid this school year, with the average award at nearly $12,000.

You can leave a legacy at SLUH by creating an endowed scholarship with a minimum investment of $30,000 for a partially endowed scholarship, $325,000 for a fully endowed scholarship or $1,000,000 for a Presidential Scholarship. For more information, contact Linda Domeyer at ldomeyer@sluh.org or (314) 269-2113.

"I saw the weight that financial aid took off my mom's shoulders. It allowed me the opportunity to go to the best high school in the world. My two brothers and I hope one day to pay it forward and donate our own money to help a kid in our same shoes go to SLUH."
