Waste Not, Want Not: Art Reimagined

Waste Not, Want Not: Art Reimagined is an art exhibit featuring art made from recycled and upcycled materials.

We challenge the entire SLUH community to reflect, pray, and create a story about the beauty of creation and to contemplate what is meant by throwaway culture.

Rather than producing waste, we must realize that we are gifted with great hope, energy, and resources. We want to learn how these can be molded into playful pieces of imaginative design and functional art and to then communicate this to our wider community.

This project will be entered into the USGBC 2018 Green Schools Quest.

This year’s contest theme is Community Engagement; we hope to reach every corner of the SLUH community and beyond.

Send us your thougthts: What is waste? What is art? #wastenotwantnot2018

Or, pray, reflect, and come help us create and celebrate the show!
